Azure Server Administrator 

Job description 

We are seeking a skilled Azure Server Administrator with a minimum of 3 years of experience in server administration and a strong knowledge of Azure server and its services. As an Azure Server Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing Azure server infrastructure, deploying and managing websites, maintaining Azure databases, load balancing, and ensuring smooth server operations. 

Responsibilities: 

• Manage and maintain Azure server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. 

• Deploy and manage websites on Azure, including configuring domains, SSL certificates, and monitoring website performance. 
• Monitor and optimize Azure databases, ensuring data integrity, availability, and security. 
• Implement load balancing and ensure optimal resource utilization across Azure server environments. 
• Collaborate with development teams to implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for Azure server applications. 
• Utilize Docker for containerization and orchestration of Azure server applications. 

• Implement and manage serverless deployment options in Azure, such as Azure Functions or Logic Apps. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions. 
• Implement security measures, including access controls, encryption, and data protection protocols, to safeguard Azure server environments. 
• Stay updated with the latest Azure server technologies and best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency. 

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in server administration, preferably with a focus on Azure. 
• Strong knowledge of Azure server and its services, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and security. 
• Experience in maintaining and managing Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) environments. 
• Proficiency in deploying and managing websites on Azure using Azure App Service or similar technologies. 
• Good understanding of Azure database management, including SQL databases and Azure SQL Managed Instances. 

• Knowledge of load balancing techniques and tools in Azure, such as Azure Load Balancer or Application Gateway. 
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, such as Azure DevOps or Git. 
• Experience with Docker and containerization in Azure environments. 
• Understanding of serverless deployment options in Azure, such as Azure Functions or Logic Apps. 
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
